| Dibs! I have to admit I can't wait to see giantUrsula on the big screen in 2013! So I'm guessing the Blu-Ray won't be out until 2013 as well? For some reason, I thought it was coming in 2012...

| So wait, they ARE going to make a 3D for Little Mermaid?
Lion King did wonders I bet.

| 80 million and counting at the box office, and that's for a freaking re-release. To compare, Winnie-the-Pooh only earned 26 million (it didn't even recover it's budget). So yes, The Lion King did wonders.
I'm not sure if I'll see The Little Mermaid in theaters. If I do, it'll be in 2D.

| My ass will be in that theatre on day 1 to see TLM in 3D! I nearly shit myself when I heard the news! Same with Beauty and the Beast. Now if only they'd do Aladdin, too. | |

| Sad to think that theatrical re-release I had so been looking forward to never happened. I still have never seen TLM in theaters. I can only imagine how much it adds to the film, considering I still remember the impact of seeing Hercules in theaters. You lose a lot of the gravity of those huge Titans just watching on TV. I'm guessing the same is true for Giant Ursula, or even scenes like the ship crashing, Triton destroying Ariel's grotto, etc. | |

| Oh, no.... It's so funny, the film had aired on TV a week or so ago, and I had saved some clips of Ursula's scenes and had been repeating them now and again the past few days. What could I say really? I knew this day was coming soon, especially after Samuel Wright and Kenneth Mars had both passed, but it's still so sad. They've found some great voice actor "replacements" for some characters (like the actress who fills in for Maleficent these days), but it's hard for me to imagine they'll ever find someone who can fill Carroll's shoes as Ursula. Here's to one of the greatest voice acting performances in Disney history! Rest in peace. | |

| Looks Halloween-themed with the Queen's apple in the logo and Lisa dressed as a witch. I wonder if they only decided to have Ursula on the poster as a shoutout to Carroll since she recently passed. | |

I think that's very likely. And it's true, it looks Halloween-themed. I hadn't noticed that.
